Tips to organise your medical records:

  1. Ask your doctor and hospital for copies of your records (you may need to pay and sign release forms)
  2. Organise these into folders with plastic sleeves; one per family member
  3. Scan documents and save them securely on the cloud
  4. Keep a medical summary document on your person and on a flash drive at home. Include next-of-kin and insurance details on this document.
