Working together to help people hear better [infographic]
There was an atmosphere of calm anticipation and friendly efficiency at the newly-refurbished Mediclinic Vergelegen and nearby Mediclinic Strand hospitals on Saturday. Five children from Red Cross Children’s Hospital as well as five adults from Groote Schuur Hospital were there to have life-changing eardrum repair (tympanoplasty) surgery.

In September, doctors at Mediclinic Milnerton – in partnership with Groote Schuur hospital and the Department of Health – performed cataract removal procedures on eight patients. These life-changing surgeries marked the beginning of a large-scale Corporate Social Investment project focusing on public and private collaboration.
