Posted on 23 December 2014

We spoke to Bridget McNulty, editor of Sweet Life magazine about living with type 1 diabetes.

Bridget started Sweet Life to create a community for people living with diabetes. As she says it’s not a diet, it’s your whole life and you need to find a way to make it sustainable.

There are five common symptoms that you shouldn’t ignore because they can indicate type 1 diabetes:
1. Extreme hunger
2. Extreme thirst
3. Extreme exhaustion
4. Blurry vision
5. Needing to urinate constantly.
