Although not an exact science, baby milestones are an important way of noticing developmental delays early. Some babies may skip the crawling stage entirely, while others will only walk after 13 months.

It is important to discuss these milestones with your baby’s paediatrician, however, to determine if he or she needs to look for any underlying problems. This is a general guide to your infant’s important developments and depicts the main baby milestones.
